24th April 2009

Change of angle today.
Every machine in every picture was whizzing like their lives depended on it.
It looked like heavy plant bumper cars!
Amazing progress since last week.

17th April 2009

8 foot high plywood wall all the way around site.
Just a couple of holes to see what's behind. ******* spoil-sports !
Graffiti appeared already - non-football related I think?
This wooden wall is crying out to be covered with something, perhaps in a New England Quarter mural stylee, up by the Station, but Albion related.
See my step-ladder in photo 1. (Yes I was serious !).
Little bit of tarmac action at the north edge of the coach park.
The mysterious concrete blocks in last weeks photos have been moved to the north west bottom corner.
I got honked at for daring to encroach just inside the main site entrance, even though there are no warning signs of any type visible.

9th April 2009

Village Way Road completed and long-term wooden security fencing being erected as documented elsewhere.
Temporary road being built perhaps to aid re-siting the site office buildings before the building of the coach park?
Site looks clean and tidy to suggest the end of this phase and ready to start the next phase after Easter.

3rd April 2009

Sorry for the slight delay due to fog. You couldn't see your hand in front of your face earlier this morning!
Lights now fitted to top of lamp posts along Village Way and directly outside in Falmer Road. Electric cable being burried.
Re-tarmaccing of road in progress.
Some strange digging works have taken place in the north west corner, (bottom left as you look from Village Way).
Footpaths on both sides of Village Way ready for top course of tarmac.
Entrance to Village Way is four lanes, diminishing to two after the entrance to the coach park.
